Spring

Finally it's spring. I felt it so strong some weeks ago but after the cold days came again. But today it's declared - I put on my new shoes :)

By the way, did you know that this weekend and today Italians are voting? yeah, regional elections. And for that they have to go to their town of residence - in Lithuania you can vote via post, here - no. Hm... It's like going to a human resources office of some big company to fill in your CV instead sending it by email. People enjoy some price reduction for train and ship fares - that's how government makes sure that people come home to vote. But what about air fares? Isn't "moderate electorate" (as they speak about Italians) supposed to travel home by airplanes?:)

All Friday and Saturday Italians were following the news about situation of Pope. There were some things that I liked about some tv broadcasts and something what I didn't like but the main idea I got - people here in Italy really do care. And they go to church. Unfortunately that's not so in Lithuania, according to www.delfi.lt of april 4, 2005.
